As a Marketing and Community Manager at Archona Games, you will be responsible for:

  1. Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our board games and increase brand awareness. Collaborate with the team to create compelling marketing campaigns, identify target audiences, and establish marketing goals and KPIs.
  2. Content Creation: Produce engaging and informative content to support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts. This includes writing blog posts, creating social media content, producing videos, and designing visuals that showcase our games and engage our audience.
  3. Influencer and Partnership Management: Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and industry partners to amplify our marketing reach and generate buzz around our board games. Identify and establish relationships with key influencers and manage partnerships to maximize exposure.
  4. Kickstarter/Crowdfunding Project Management: Plan, launch, and manage Kickstarter/crowdfunding campaigns for our board games. Coordinate campaign logistics, including campaign page creation, reward tiers, stretch goals, and updates. Engage with backers, answer questions, and ensure a positive crowdfunding experience.
  5. Community Engagement: Foster a strong community of board game enthusiasts through various channels, including social media, online forums, and email newsletters. Develop and implement community engagement strategies to drive interaction, facilitate discussions, and share updates, news, and relevant information.
  6. Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate participation in board game conventions, trade shows, and other industry events. Organize booth setup and promotional materials and manage event logistics to create impactful brand experiences.

Requirements:

  1. Marketing and Community Management Experience: Proven experience in marketing, community management, or related roles, preferably within the board game, tabletop gaming, or entertainment industry.
  2. Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including social media platforms, email marketing, content creation, and influencer marketing. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools is an advantage.
  3. Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills in planning, executing, and monitoring Kickstarter/crowdfunding campaigns. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
  4. Creative Thinking: Demonstrated creativity and innovation to develop engaging marketing campaigns and community initiatives. Ability to think outside the box and generate fresh ideas to captivate the target audience.
  5. Excellent Communication Skills in English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling marketing content, engage with the community, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Passion for Board Games: A genuine passion for board games and a deep understanding of the gaming community. Ability to connect with board game enthusiasts, understand their preferences and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  7. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with influencers, content creators, and industry partners. Ability to negotiate and manage partnerships effectively.
  8. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze marketing data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to track campaign performance and measure success.
